Currently, those changes are inside my client's code base. I'm keeping
track of them and looking to make them open source in the future.
The biggest challenge is that both Prototype and ExtJS add a method
named defer() to the JavaScript Function prototype and the methods
work differently and take different parameters. I hand edited our
copy of ExtJS to rename that method to xdefer() so as not to conflict
with Prototype. That was truly ugly.
