I thought I would upgrade to Eclipse 3.4 (from 3.3.2).

I find that 3.4 + Groovy plugin is unable to compile Gant at all. With
3.3.2 + Groovy plugin I found that if I switched off automatic building
then cleaned the project and built it twice, everything compiled. That
sequence no longer works. Of course I had not upgraded my 3.3.2 to the
latest plugin 1.5.6.200807211457 so I then did that and <pause to build
tension> it worked as before.

So tentative hypothesis is that the the Groovy plugin isn't working
properly in Eclipse 3.4 -- either that or I have to change my behaviour
to get Gant to compile.

Help from the Groovy Eclipse plugin knowledgeable most welcome.
