1.6-beta-1 was released many months ago and after browsing the JIRA site I
see 4 blockers for 1.6-beta-2 and one them hasn't been updated since early
May (GROOVY-2818).

Is there a roadmap for 1.6? Any estimate on the release date of beta-2 or
better yet the final? I am just trying to plan my own release cycle and was
wondering.
