You have to work your way up the inheritance hierarchy for List,
i.e. look at Collection and Object.

There has been a recent feature request to make the hierarchy
appear within the doco as navigatible links to make such
traversal more obvious. Also a "methods inherited from"
section ala Javadoc and Groovydoc would be immensely valuable.

Please create a specific Jira issue if you want to track such
a feature request.
