[groovy-eclipse-plugin-dev] run as from context menu on source file.

hi, having some wierdness with this.

our study group has been using eclipse for about 3 months now. at
first it was pretty flakey, but after a few weeks (or versions of
groovy and the plugin) it seemed to settle down. so we could do a run
as groovy with a tight click (onr the source file) and control-f11
ran it again. we had to make sure that there were no problems (red in
the problems tab) and sometimes we needed to do a clean, close or
restart of eclipse.

mostly it has worked fine (for a few months) on the various revisions
of groovy and your plugin.

yesterday i reinstalled the fall standard eclipse and reloaded your plugin:

I:\eclipse\plugins\org.codehaus.groovy.eclipse.core.help_1.5.1.200801232227
I:\eclipse\plugins\org.codehaus.groovy.eclipse_1.5.1.200801232227
I:\eclipse\plugins\org.codehaus.groovy_1.5.1.200801232227

seemed to work fine. but this morning, i had lost the run as groovy
from the context menu. opening and closing the project and eclipse or
cleaning does not help. moving the source to a new project does not
help. making a new project works just fine.

in general, installing a new plugin causes a lot of red to show up.
the projects have to be migrated slowly.

in both cases (good or no run as groovy), i can do a run as or debug
as java from the class file in bin-groovy.

i noticed some other threads on the groovy list about this.

i am not knowledgable about the run as dialog (no need to use this if
one is doing core java), so it may be some problem with that.

any pointers will be appreciated.

thanks
