Hi Eclipse dev team,

I've got the great pleasure and honor to introduce Andrew Eisenberg.

Part of the deal of the acquisition of G2One by SpringSource was that
the SpringSource Eclipse team would help improving the support of
Groovy and Grails in the Eclipse plugin.
This took a bit of time as the S2 Eclipse team was full steam on the
current S2 plugins (Spring IDE, STS, etc), but from now on, Andrew
will help us shift gears!
Andrew has worked on the AJDT support (AspectJ), among other things,
so he knows pretty well how the JDT works, and much much more.
There are definitely various areas where Andrew will help on, from bug
fixing, to making the groovy core model compatible with JDT's model,
to improving code completion, working on refactorings, modularizing
the plugin so it works with various G&G runtime versions, and much
more.
Also, other members of the S2 Eclipse team will help him on other
aspects, think of ER diagrams for Grails domain classes, etc.

I'll give Andrew commit rights on the project right away, to ensure
he's got a smooth access to the source.
And if Andrew wants to give more details, or anything, Andrew, feel
free to do so.
Also, Eclipse developers, please don't hesitate to ask questions to
Andrew, give guidance into the codebase, etc.
Andrew will most certainly also ask questions too, so please give him
all the help he needs to get a good grip on the inner workings of the
plugin.

Thank a lot everybody for your attention.
I'm very excited about all this and I'm really looking forward to
seeing the Eclipse plugin shine bright in the sky! (I'm getting lyric
tonight)
