Just an update on Alpha2:  It was tentatively planned for this week; and it will be postponed for at least one week due to lack of activity on the 2.0.x branch.  I will re-evaluate the status this coming weekend and decide whether to prepare a release or wait another week.  In the mean time, I will try to evaluate and apply a few patches in JIRA.  Thanks.
