Hi,

I'm working in a project where I make a heavy usage of NHibernate. I found two limitations in the QBC engine :
1 - you cannot join to an association (with CreateCriteria or CreateAlias) that is defined in a key-many-to-one. See the last post of http://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.php?t=981998,
2 - when you join to an association (with CreateCriteria or CreateAlias), this association is always fetched, even if SetFetchMode is specified.

I think both issues can be solved. I fact I developed a naïve solution for my own project that could be improved and added to NHibernate. If you are interested in this contribution, I can work on it.
