I see that many big/breaking changes are coming. I think that it is really time that we align with Hibernate versioning and rename v2.1.0 as v3.0... Then, the next version would be 3.2, or whatever is the current version of Hibernate. Note that I'm not saying that we should have the exact same version as Hibernate, but at least the major build (ie: v3.x) should be the same if they have the same feature set.
